Dear Mr. Newton:
The City Council met this afternoon as a Committee of the Whole and preliminarily approved the following Impasse Hearing Procedure for a hearing date to be determined in the near future:
Each party will have up to 30 minutes for presenting their positions, with 15 minutes for rebuttal followed by five minutes of summary. City Council questions and comments can take place at the conclusion of initial presentation and rebuttal.
The Committee of the Whole's recommendation will be presented to City Council Thursday morning, February 1, for approval.
