Jerrys Kids would like to take this opportunity to thank the 60 dedicated souls from SPF&R, Local 747, and their friends for doing their best to raise monies for continuing the research and treatments for the crippling disease we all know as Muscular Dystrophy.

Once again, to the 52 workers of the roadside crews as well as the 8 workers who worked behind the scenes, counting the money, purchasing, and delivering the supplies to the corners, we SALAUTE YOU. We appreciate your continuing efforts to keep the name and reputation of the St. Petersburg association of Fire Fighters, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue, and Lealman Fire Departments visible to the citizens, as well as in their minds and conversations with their families and friends.

Lets put forth a MAXIMUM EFFORT on May 19th, and we will accomplish the Highest goal that this local has ever attempted for those afflicted with the Muscular Diseases that have crippled so many. Let us continue to help make the difference in someone's life.

A special thanks to the On-Duty personnel that came out and picked up a boot for the cause this weekend. The Big Red Trucks DO make a BIG difference in the amounts collected and the additional personnel help tremendously, (the Park St. corner was mostly on-duty crews and with apparatus on the corners they had the highest average collected). All on duty crews are encouraged to make an appearance. As in the past, Chief's Large, Wimberly, and Graham have been kind enough to allow collections on duty. Lets use this to our best advantage in our march towards our highest goal yet of $28,000.00.

Call now to commit to a collection corner for this last push on Saturday May 19th. We still need many people to make this a success. (727) 323-1786 ext. 1,2,or 3
